I found this really pretty black fabric on clearance at JoAnn's, and thought it would look nice over red. A little cliche, I know. The plan for this is to make a shirt that looks like something Drusilla from Buffy might wear (no, I'm not planning on dressing as Dru). The sleeves and collar will be the black by itself.



This will be my first time doing darts and pleats in double-layered fabric, which I'm hoping won't be too tricky. Should be useful to have that figured out.
